Everything but music

這星期抽時間睇咗兩場藝術節嘅表演： Bruce Liu 嘅鋼琴獨奏會，同 Lost Dog 嘅《朱麗葉與羅密歐》。心靈非常滿足。

Bruce Liu 來港，萬眾矚目。會場入面全是音樂界熟悉嘅面孔，大家都黎一睹蕭邦鋼琴大賽冠軍嘅風采。當日鋼琴嘅 settling 嘛嘛，但 Bruce 嘅控琴能力可見一班，驚喜。

而《朱》則令我喜出望外，兩個主角都好有力量，單憑二人之力就能演完整場，且笑位不斷。無論係演員同劇本都唔簡單。期待佢哋下一部作品。

This week I took some time to watch two performances at the Hong Kong Art Festival: Bruce Liu’s piano recital, and “Juliet and Romeo” by Lost Dog. Soooo satisfied.

Everyone was looking forward for Bruce Liu’s performance in Hong Kong. The venue was full of familiar faces in the music industry. Everyone was longing to see the demeanor of the champion of the Chopin Piano Competition. I wished the piano was with better balance that day, but Bruce’s ability to control the piano was obvious, which was a pleasant surprise.

And “Juliet” made me overjoyed, the two protagonists were so powerful, they performed the whole drama with their own strength, and kept audiences laughing. Both actors and the script was amazing. Looking forward to their next work.
